We Believe All Dogs Have the Right to Live ~ And be Loved!
Merry Christmas to all our wonderful followers and fellow animal lovers. Christmas seems like the perfect time to provide a little update on what we have been doing and continue to do. This guy here to the right; Miracle, epitomizes what we do and what we believe in as a rescue. Every animal on earth has just as much right to be here as you or I. Miracle has been through more than anyONE should ever have to go through and the Right to Live continued to fight for him and do whatever was necessary to give him the best life possible. Now this happy little man shows us that he appreciates his life and is super happy racing around on his wheels. We have so much to learn from animals and anyone who is lucky enough to have an animal in their life knows that they are truly a gift for our souls. Animals were not put on earth for us to use and abuse, for us to mistreat and neglect; they were put here to show us that we should love and be happy and not sweat the small stuff. All of us here at the Right to Live rescue share our lives with numerous animals and they enrich it so much and we want them all to have their happy ever after. When the donations flow we rescue, we treat, we love and we find them their forever homes, and when the donations run dry, we continue to do the same. We fight for the dogs we rescue with all the help we can get and are always so grateful to those who help us in our fight. Every year we try and rescue and re-home more dogs than the year before, we try to save the sickest, the most injured, and the oldest ones as we know they are the ones who will be overlooked by most. We cannot say enough thank you’s to those who donate to us and at this time of year, and through-out the year we remain humbled by the amazing support we receive. Let’s make 2024 the best year yet - let’s save as many dogs as we can and give them the life they deserve. We cannot change the world (unfortunately) but for every dog we help - we change theirs.
From our family to yours; Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year.

It's so hard and so cold on this concrete floor I'm desperately straining to see the door But when it opens the noise is oh so loud I try to stay quiet and stand up proud I can smell their scent, I can hear a voice Something about there isn't much choice I can hear the others begging "Please pick me!" But I was taught well and sit patiently Now they're in front of me, eyes open wide I smile at them and invite them inside But they back away and quickly move on I hear the door slam, it's quiet, they're gone Well it soon will be supper and here comes my friend He says I'm a "good boy, but it's come to the end" He's rubbing me kindly but won't look in my eyes When I kiss him and love him I think I hear cries I'm going for a walk but I feel somethings wrong My good friend keeps telling me I must be strong But we don't go outside, we go into a room It smells strange, I am scared and it feels full of doom My friend picks me up and puts me down on the bed He hugs me and whispers, I don't hear what he said But I shouldn't be scared, it's an injection, a shot But when I look at their faces I know that's not what I got I feel tired and sleepy, somethings not right I don't want to sleep, I don't want to, I fight! My friend holds me tightly he says it's okay But I don't understand why I couldn't stay. DONATE VIA PAYPAL: [email protected] |
