KATE
White Golden Mix, 10 Months, 36 lbs
Meet my sweet girl Kate. Kate and I were picked up as strays and we were both skinny and had some Demodex Mange, which meant our coats were very thin and patchy. Thankfully the Right to Live rescue saw beyond that and quickly became our saviours. Kate was so happy that we were going to be saved, you can tell from her first pic she was smiling! We were picked up and taken to a boarding/fostering home with a lovely lady called Brooke who gave us each a special bath to help our skin. Kate was so happy after her bath cos she felt pretty again (though she has always been pretty to me!). While at Brookes house we got to spend a lot of time playing and being dogs. We got some good food and it was great knowing we didn't have to rummage in the garbage anymore for food. Kate is a really sweet little lady. She loves everyone around her. We got to meet different people and lots of different dogs, there were so many smells - it was like heaven. Kate and I got medications to help us heal and we both got what they called "fixed".... even though they told us we were not broken dogs. Kate and I dreamt of our own homes, but unfortunately poor Kate was in a bit of a worse way than me so I got to leave to my new family first. I heard Kate is ready to go now and is waiting for her new family. She is such a wonderful girl, so sweet and loving - I really hope she gets her home soon. I know she will make someone a wonderful friend and companion. She is smart and quick to learn and though she would love a doggy friend she also told me she would be happy being the only dog as she would love all the attention on her - something she so longs for. Please find out more about my sweet girl Kate - I know you won't regret it.
