RAVEN
Kelpie mix, 5 yrs, 53 lbs

My name is Raven, cos' I have such a beautiful black shiny coat as you can see.  I love attention and want to be with my people as much as I can.  I have a special spot on my chest where I love to be scratched, but I basically love to be hugged and pet all the time.  I am house trained and do great during the day by myself, but when my people come home I am SOO excited to play fetch or tug with them.  I can be a little nervous around other dogs when I am on the leash, but get me off the leash and into a play setting and I am super sociable!  I would prefer no cats please as I can't be sure how excited or rough I may get with them, and given my level of excitement, I would probably be better with older kids, the kind who can play with me and not mind if I get too excited.  My ideal family will be active, cos I would make a great hiking buddy or football playing friend - some people would even say I am high energy, so I hope you can match that with your activity and we can explore new things together.  Maybe you are the right home for me - and if not, maybe you might know the right home?

JOY
Retriever mix, 2.5 yrs, 55 lbs

Hi, I'm Joy and I really couldn't have got a better name because I am pure joy to be around and I will bring you so much joy too.  I am a super happy and playful girl who can keep myself entertained for hours just with a toy.  I am great with other dogs and play hard when they are larger like me, if they are little then I am very careful with them.  I'm working on my leash skills and with your help I am sure we can become a great team!  I am not fond of cats so I ask not to have to live with any, and because I am a high energy, bigger dog, I would be best in a home with children over the age of 10.  Help me find me new home soon!!
